Inter Club PUPI Zanetti Malta inaugurates its new premises

A memorable evening for all members present for this occasion as the special guest was the former Captain and current Vice President of Inter, Javier Zanetti.

The President of the Inter Club PUPI Zanetti Malta, Paul Fenech thanked all members for their support and their collaboration in order for this dream to become a reality. During his speech, he thanked the committee also for its valuable work, as several important activities where organised including a Training Camp Javier Zanetti, a Training Camp Ivan Ramiro Cordoba and also a party for children in church homes under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Malta, Marie Louise Coleiro Preca. Paul Fenech praised the fact that although this club was only founded ten months ago, it already boasts more than 420 members already.

Invited for this special evening was Nicola Ranieri, Director of Centro Coordinamento Inter Club. He praised the enthusiasm of the committee of this club, and admired the fact that in so little time, very important successes were achieved by this club. Dr. Ranieri thanked also the Maltese Interisti for their warm welcome.
Inter Vice-President Javier Zanetti stated that it is a pleasure and an honour to visit our islands, as well meeting with the Maltese Interisti.


In his speech Zanetti agreed with Nicola Ranieri that this club achieved great success in such a short space of time with enthusiasm and dedication and stated that it is a great honour that the club was named for him.

Javier Zanetti presented gifts of appreciation to the members who helped and dedicated a lot of time, to make sure that the premises can host its members. Zanetti and Ranieri were also given a token to remember this special event.
After the inauguration a reception was held at Cavalieri Hotel.

L-Inter Club Pupi Zanetti Malta għandu l-pjaċir li jħabbar li l-klabb se jkun miftuħ uffiċjalment minn Javier Zanetti, nhar il-Ħamis 26 ta’ Marzu. Il-membri tal-klabb huma mistiedna li jattendu għall-istess ftuħ.
Wara ċ-ċerimonja tal-ftuħ se jiġi organizzat riċeviment fil-lukanda Cavalieri, San Ġiljan. Kulħadd huwa mistieden li jattendi. Il-prezz ta’ l-adulti se jkun dak ta’ €20 filwaqt li tat-tfal €10. Il-qliegħ minn din l-attivita se jkun preżentat lill-fundazzjoni ‘Pupi’ immexxija minn Zanetti.

Ivan Cordoba arrives in Malta

Finally, the moment has arrived!! Ivan Cordoba has arrived in Malta for his Training Camp, Gala Dinner and VIP lunch.

Former Inter player, Felice Natalino was also present.

All the funds collected from these activities will be contribute to the foundation "te quiere ver Onlus" led by Cordoba which helps children and families in Colombia.

Details of Ivan Cordoba's visit - 14-15 March

The committee of the Inter Club Malta Pupi Zanetti Malta is pleased to announce that on Saturday 14 March and Sunday 15 March, the ex-legendary Colombian player, Ivan Ramiro Cordoba will be visiting Malta.
The Interisti will be able to renew the memory of winning the Treble as exclusively the player will be exposing his medals. Everyone is invited to take a photo of the occasion.
These are the details of the activities linked to the visit of Cordoba:
--On Saturday 14 March a gala dinner will be organised in the hotel Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Golden Sands at 8:00pm for a price of € 40. Those who will attend this event will be a right to take a photo with the medals of the treble.
- On Sunday 15 March Cordoba will be conducting training camp where children, both girls and boys, are encouraged to participate. In total there will be two sessions for a price of € 35. The first session will be made from 9:00 to 11:30am whilst the second session starts at 2:30 till 5:00pm. The ages of the children will vary from 4 to 15 years.
On the same day, at noon, a VIP lunch in St Julian's restaurant Wigi’s for the price of € 60. Those attending will have the unique opportunity to eat with Cordoba and take a photo of the occasion with the medals of the treble. The event is open only to a limited number of 25 persons and therefore the bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis.
